Bagel, Plain

If someone handed you one of these you would never guess it came out of an MRE. It tastes exactly like any store bought bagel. The only difference is that they are a little smaller than store bought ones.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this plain bagel was. I now prefer it to most of the other breads offered in MREs.
It looks like a scale model of bagels offered in stores or bakeries, yet its smaller size is more than offset by its satisfying taste and texture.
It seems to be lighter and slightly less dense than its big store cousins, but considering that MREs are designed to be as light as possible, that is not a problem
I'm off to study MRE menus to see which ones have plain bagels..
