Modular Operational Ration Enhancement (MORE) Type II – Hot Weather
The Modular Operational Ration Enhancement (MORE) Type II is a supplemental ration designed to increase daily caloric intake when operating in hot weather conditions. It is intended to be used alongside standard meals to provide additional energy through compact, ready-to-eat components.
Each MORE Type II ration provides approximately 1,000 calories. The ration is factory sealed and shelf stable with a 3+ year shelf life when stored in a cool, dry environment.
MORE Type II rations are built with heat-appropriate components and are available in three different menu configurations. Menu selections may vary and are subject to substitution, removal, or change by the manufacturer.
Menu options include combinations of caffeinated chocolate pudding, dried cranberries, energy gels, cheddar cheese filled pretzels, carb-fortified beverage powders, chocolate or mocha first strike bars, smoked almonds, zapplesauce, caffeinated gum, corn nuggets, nut and raisin mixes, and cinnamon-flavored applesauce. These items are packaged together to supplement existing meals during extended activity in warm environments.

Menu #1 includes caffeinated chocolate pudding, dried cranberries, an energy gel or substitute bar, cheddar cheese filled pretzels and 2 carb-fortified beverage powders.
Menu #2 includes a chocolate first strike bar, smoked almonds, an energy gel or substitute bar, mint caffeinated gum, and 2 carb-fortified beverage powders.
Menu #3 includes an energy gel or substitute bar, nut and fruit mix, cinnamon applesauce, toasted corn kernels, a mini mocha first strike bar, and 2 carb-fortified beverage powders.
