Case – Modular Operational Ration Enhancement (MORE) Type II – Hot Weather

The Modular Operational Ration Enhancement (MORE) Type II Case is a supplemental ration system designed to increase daily caloric intake when operating in hot weather environments. This case is intended to supplement standard meals by providing additional energy through compact, ready-to-eat components.

Each case contains 24 supplemental rations providing a combined total of approximately 24,000 calories. The rations are factory sealed and shelf stable with a 3+ year shelf life when stored in a cool, dry environment.

MORE Type II rations are built with components selected for use in higher temperatures and extended activity. Each case includes eight units of each of three different menu configurations. Menu contents may vary and are subject to substitution, removal, or change by the manufacturer.

Menu options include combinations of caffeinated chocolate pudding, dried cranberries, energy gels, cheddar cheese filled pretzels, carb-fortified beverage powders, chocolate or mocha first strike bars, smoked almonds, zapplesauce varieties, caffeinated gum, corn nuggets, and nut and raisin mixes. These components are packaged together to supplement standard rations during warm-weather operations.
