Modular Operational Ration Enhancement (MORE) Type I – High Altitude / Cold Weather

The Modular Operational Ration Enhancement (MORE) Type I is a supplemental ration designed to provide additional calories and nutrition when operating in high-altitude or cold-weather environments. It is intended to be used alongside standard meals to increase daily energy intake in demanding conditions.

Each MORE Type I ration provides approximately 1,200 calories. The ration is factory sealed and shelf stable with a 3+ year shelf life when stored in a cool, dry environment.

MORE Type I rations are formulated with calorie-dense components suited for colder temperatures and extended activity. Three different menu selections are available, and menu contents may vary and are subject to substitution, removal, or change by the manufacturer.

Menu options include combinations of caffeinated chocolate pudding, nut and fruit mixes, energy gels or substitute bars, toaster pastries, cheddar cheese filled pretzels, chocolate first strike bars, toasted corn kernels, smoked beef snacks, caffeinated gum, crackers, cheddar potato bacon soup spread, baked snack crackers, cinnamon applesauce, and carb-fortified beverage powders. These components are packaged to supplement standard rations during cold or high-altitude operations.
